If you're going through hell....

Well...it's that time of the year. School becomes to much to handle so we keep putting things off (like I am right now) until the very last minute which stresses us out to the max. We all bitch about it to friends and anyone that will listen and put our stress all over Facebook for the world to see. Have I done this in the past? Yes I have. Do I like to do it? No, I hate it. If I'm stressed out about work, its most likely my fault for letting it get to that point and I shouldn't expect to get attention from others because they are going through the same things.

Everyday I get more annoyed with Facebook because it can get very depressing...people post every personal detail about themselves just so everyone can see and leave them a notification. It's not that I don't care about how people are doing, but is it really necessary to post a depressing status every hour just to get attention? Sorry, random rant but I'm getting to the point of this post. Instead of taking every depressing, stressful moment of your life and turning it into an even more depressing Facebook status...try turning the situation around! My favorite thing to do is to take a time out, put my headphones in, and just listen. I listen to a song that inspires me to keep going, to push through because everything is going to be OK. I've been wanting to share some of my favorite "pump up" songs for a couple of weeks so I thought that instead of working I would take a few moments to share because we're heading into week 3 of the semester! I don't focus on who is singing the song (you will understand when you see some of the artists), I focus on the lyrics and how they inspire me to push through.

If You're Going Through Hell

Go the Distance
The Climb
I Believe

These are only a few...I could keep going on and on and on about awesome "pump up" music. So next time, blast one of your favorite songs and just chill for a couple minutes then get back to it! Good luck as we head further into the semester.

Remember, if you're going through hell keep on moving, don't slow down...if you're scared don't show it!

XOXO
